WI: Sex Offender Website Adds Search Tools.

The Department of Corrections has added interactive functions to their Sex Offender Registry Website.

Visitors to the site will now have the ability to search the statewide registry by offender name and also by zip code.

A successful search will yield a list of names, linking to photographs and information on the offender's crime. The Web site will not display a detailed address.

A search on the 53089 zip code (covering Sussex and parts of Lisbon) shows that there are seven offenders listed under eleven names in the registry living in that geographic area.
