Washington: Supreme Court to hear case on sex offender registries.

WASHINGTON — Is it constitutional for states to list names of convicted sex offenders on the Internet, after they’ve already completed their punishment?

The Supreme Court has agreed to take on that question.

In about a dozen states, including Florida, there are sex offender laws that publish the names, addresses or other personal information about convicted sex offenders on the Internet.
