Fort Wayne - "There are hundreds of sex offenders living in allen county. They live in every part of town and every section of the county," says Sgt. Tom Rhoades of the Fort Wayne Police Department.

But, if you want to find out about a sex offender, their identity, their appearance, or even where they live, it's no easy task...even though it's all public record and the law.

Zachary's law took effect in Indiana in 1994. It requires all sheriff's Departments across the state to maintain a sex offender registry.
