NJ: New Debate Over NJ Sex Offenders List.

TRENTON, N.J. The state public defender's office has renewed its bid to block officials from posting the home addresses of convicted sex offenders on the state's Internet registry.

The latest challenge comes in a lawsuit filed Friday by the agency and the American Civil Liberties Union on behalf of seven unidentified sex offenders who range in age from 14 to 52 and live in six different counties in New Jersey. It comes a few months after a federal appeals court threw out the agency's previous attempt to shut down the registry.
